The Zottman curl is a great exercise to add into your workout routine if you’re looking to work on your biceps. This exercise is named after Georg Zottman, who was a German weightlifter born in 1864.
To perform a Zottman curl, start by holding a dumbbell in each hand with your palms facing your thighs. From here, curl the weights up to the front of your shoulders while keeping your palms facing inward. Then, turn your palms outward and lower the dumbbells back down to your thighs. Repeat for desired rep count.
If you want a challenge, try adding a Zottman curl into your next workout. This exercise is a great way to work on your biceps and add some variety to your routine. Give it a try and see how it goes!
